12/23 Brother John Andersen had triple bypass surgery and is currently in cardiac rehab. He’s doing well. Let’s keep him  in our prayers that he continues on the road to a full and complete recovery.

12/20 Brother Mike Carrano asks for our prayers. He had  prostate biopsy the day after attending the Christmas party, and wasn’t feeling well after the PCB at St. Peter  and doctor advised he go to ER to check out the cause. He has been taking tests  and is still in Southside hospital awaiting the results

12/17 Brother Charlie Sorrese asks our prayers for GERRY SCHREIBER  He is in critical condition at Northwell Manhasset Hospital, with failing liver.

12/8 Brother JEFF WINTER suffered a heart attack today and is currently in the hospital undergoing procedures. Please keep him in your prayers.

11/30 Brother Al Midura asks for your prayers for  BRIAN DIOTALEVI who has been in a coma for over a week and no movement in his arms or legs.  He's 56 and living in Florida with his family. He worked for UPS

and was delivering a package to a home, when he collapsed from Cardiac arrest. In a few days his family will decide what to do. Keep Brian and his family in your prayers. Their decisions will not be easy ones.  Brian is the son of Al’s deceased cousins. Irene & Leo Diotalevi

Vin was rushed to the hospital recently due to breathing problems, was thought to be at death’s doorstep, was revived, had a tracheotomy and is currently in a care facility which can deal with his  condition’s special needs. He is alert but cannot speak and  is having trouble swallowing. Please pray for Vin, his wife Olga and family as they deal with this situation on a daily basis..

9/9 Brother Al Midura asks your prayers for his cousin, RALPH CUTRO, who passed away quietly this morning in his home in Arizona surrounded by family, . Ralph was a Marine vet who fought in the Korean War under some of the worse conditions and battles. Including the Chosin Reservoir and was one of the “Chosen Few”. He was six years older  than Al and like an older brother and mentor.

8/28 Brother Al Midura asks your prayers for his cousin, RALPH CUTRO, who is in hospice care at his home in Arizona and dying from stomach Cancer. 8/11 Please pray for the people on Maui, Hawaii. A large portion of their lovely island paradise along with much of its history and culture have been decimated by fires. Over 50 people are known dead and hundreds burned, thousands left homeless without anything and many missing or as yet  unheard from. They are our fellow Americans and there are also at least three Knight of Columbus councils on the island of Maui alone with many others on surrounding islands in the Hawaiian chain.

8/9 Brother Bob LoBianco request our prayers for his sister Donna, who has been battling bone cancer for years . She has now been undergoing radiation because of the spread . She is sick after treatment and extremely tired Pray for her and her family that she’ll continue to fight

8/6 Brother Robert Denton met a woman whose spinal column is broken. She must be in a reclining wheelchair for the rest of her life. She is grateful to God for the blessings she has, but she cannot walk ever again. He asks the Knights to pray to God for her to deal with her disability. Her name is JOANNE and lives not too far from him.

8/4 Brother Eric Henrikson asks our prayers for the soul of his brother in law, RICHARD WALSH, who apparently took his own life at his home in Michigan late last night. He also request prayers for his wife ,son, mother , sisters-in-law as well as the rest of the family as they process and grieve this terrible tragedy.

7/14 Please pray for the Nicaraguan Catholic church and its peoples. The Ortega government , in power since 2007, has begun a new round of crackdowns on Catholics, the clergy and the Church, which Ortega claims has been trying to unseat him from power. As in other absolutist controlled countries, any opposition or criticism is not tolerated and suppressed.

6/11 Brother Greg Pardo asks our prayers for Brother ED SCOTT who underwent colon cancer surgery this past week.

6/08 Brother NICK CONZO’S wife ,Angela, reported this morning that Nick still does not have feeling in his legs from his hips down. The surgeons were able to remove a lot of the tumor, but not in time. Nick's spinal cord was damaged by the tumor causing the problem. Please keep praying for Nick, Angela and  the Conzo family that God gives them the strength to deal with this and that Nick’s condition begins to improve.

6/06 Brother Bob Lo Bianco asks prayers for his son, Gregory as he takes the Suffolk Co. PD sergeants test this week

6/06 Please pray for Brother NICK CONZO , his wife Angela and his family as he will be operated on tomorrow (WED) at Sloan Kettering. Nick has a cancerous tumor pressing on his spinal column which is, among other things, causing him to endure great pain, even with the morphine. On top of everything else, the doctors discovered a blood clot in his leg which must be addressed. Nick asked for and  needs our prayers.

5/31 Please keep Brother NICK CONZO in your prayers. He is in great pain due to his illness and on morphine in an attempt by his doctors at Sloan Kettering to manage his pain. Just the other day he was hoping to  be at his usual hour at Adoration.  Keep his wife Angela and their family in your prayers as well, during this trying time.

4/26 Brother Charlie Sorrese asks our prayers for his good friend, KEN SELL, just home from Southside Hospital, with Walking Pnuemonia, that became full blown Pnuemonia. The general antibiotics ordered by GP failed to kill all the bacteria. Lungs failing. Severe chest pain. After CatScan in ER,  Pulmonary specialist ordered Robotic Lung Surgery to scrape saturated lung tissue clean. Specific antibiotic now prescribed for the exact bacteria, but recoup is long.

4/26 Brother Dave Viola is asking for continue prayers for his wife Cathy as she is being moved to St. Charles for Rehab.

4/20 Brother STEPHEN GUIDI asks for our prayers as he undergoes surgery on his left shoulder, tomorrow at St. Francis Hospital.

3/24 MAX MADERNA WHO WAS HOSPITALIZED AT AGE 21 . HAD A COLD THAT CAUSED AN INFECTION , MYOCARDITIS AND PERICARDITIS WHICH IS INFLAMMATION AROUND THE HEART , HE WAS RELEASED YESTERDAY ON MEDICATION WITH MANY TEST TO FOLLOW

2/20 Brother Don Getrost asks our prayers for his son ROB in Florida, who was on a ladder and it collapsed. He broke his Tibia in 7 places. Going into surgery Tuesday for two plates and screws.

2/19 Brother Mike Cohen asks our prayers to pray for Brother Frank Lyons’ grandson BEN GRAHAM , 7 years old,  who had brain surgery and has other  health issues.

2/15 Brother Michael DeCillis had his knee replacement surgery successfully done on Feb. 2nd. and would like to thank the Brothers for their prayers and asks they be continued as he goes through a difficult post operative therapy period.

2/15 Brother Michael also asks our prayers for a speedy  and full recovery of his most close friend, JIM RUMBAUGH, who suffered a heart attack a few days ago without any previous cardiac or health-related issues, and is now back home recovering and trying to get used to all the medications he is now on.

2/07 Brother Bob LoBianco is requesting prayers for his 5 month old grandson COLE  He is going tomorrow for a cat scan of his scull to determine what type of procedure he will need to correct his scull . The scull has closed prematurely and needs to be opened arthroscopically or with surgery .
Please also pray for Bob, his son Greg and wife Nicole for the strength to deal with their ordeal

2/06 Brother Dean Ghosio would like to thank the Council for the prayers for his father, FRANK.  He is now off the ventilator and his kidneys are functioning. He is out of ICU but still in the hospital, so please continue to pray for his full recovery and return home.
